  • How big do you guys wanna get?

Just thought that this would be interesting to hear! InHuman, Massive G, FrigginHuge, Dante, and any other monstrously huge motherfuckers need not apply...we all know you guys just wanna be/already are as big as possible! LOL

For the rest of you, how big do you guys wanna really get? As for me, I have about the same goal as the above guys...I just wanna get as BIG as possible. I'm still a long ways off, though I probably won't touch juice unless I decide to/get lucky enough to move up in the ranks of competition that basically require you to juice to be competitive. Only time will tell :rocker:

I'd like to be able to carry single digit bf in the 240-250 range, I'm an EASY 30lbs off that.
    I'm 240 now at about 14% and 6'2"
At 40yrs old I don't know if I've got a competitive future, they just dropped most masters shows to 'over 35'.
I'm gonna enter my first show in Nov and hope to be able to carry close to 220 in the ripped, but I get the feeling it'll be closer to 210.

I`ll be very pleased with 230 as long as I`m all natural and are at the same bodyfat level as today. Now I`m barely 200, but increasing by the hour. Lol

I was on stage last week at 198lbs.

I'm 5'9" and my goal is to be 220lbs on stage at 4-5% bf.

and then when I get there, I'm sure my goals will change! LOL

people tend to think the bigger the better but there are a lot of other factors you dont consider when you are on the outside looking in. for me i busted my ass in the gym, ate like a fucking animal, cycled smartly for years and i gained a lot of size. i guess i have pretty good genetic for building muscle (shitty structure/shape though) and i thought more was always better. i ended up 330 at 15-17% and im 6'.

a couple things occurred to me at this point.

hypothetically speaking if i was caught with certain substances i would be completely fucked. good bye career, good bye all the money i spent on my education, and good bye future.

my structure sucks so realistically i dont have any future in competitive bodybuilding and im not particularly interested in competing anyways.

i was not putting the amount of time into my personal life that the people that mattered to me deserved. that wasnt fair to them

i felt like shit at that weight.

so i went off, dieted all the excess bodyfat off, and started working on balancing things out in my life. with the coming off and dieting i lost 40 pounds and since then training naturally i gained 15 pounds of that back. so im smaller, i plan on remaining clean permanently and honestly im probably never going to leave the 300-310 range because of that.

i generally feel better now, both physically and otherwise. i know what im saying may not be popular with everybody here but i urge everyone to evaluate the priorities in their lives. bodybuilding is a lifestyle but for most its not a life.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

I don't think I'll ever go above 250 lbs off season.
