  • The Excersise or The Streches??

For the last couple Weeks i have been KILLING Myself!!

It Seems that after i Do my Working RP or Straight Set for my Bodypart i cannot WAIT to Strech!! It Seems that The Strech Hurts and Makes me Even More Sore than the Excersise??

or is It in my Head?

The stretch is almost like another workout to me. It actually helps with recovery though, so it's not making you more sore than the actual workout. It's actually helping to make you LESS sore. I find that if I didn't stretch a bodypart *a couple months back I would forego a stretch out of laziness, don't beat me Dante...LOL* I would be INCREDIBLY sore the next day. But if I stretched the next time, I wouldn't be near as sore.

Thanks for mentioned that on the stretching. Today was my first DC workout and I have to admit that in some cases I cut the stretching short. I made a note of the time and will keep increasing it up to the 60 seconds, but sometimes the pain and shaking seemed so much that I thought I should cut it short being my first workout and see how the body responds. But I'll work to quickly get up to the full 60 seconds soon.

Each time I add weight to a stretch if it is a weighted stretch I keep working it til I reach 60 seconds then I move up in weight, on the regular stretches I just try to make them harder by sitting down farther or squating down farther to make it more difficult...

try putting a bench behind you. then put one foot on the bech and sink your knee down to the floor and lean back on the bench. you can only do one leg at a time but i feel the stretch much better this way

Hell, even get down on the knees and lean back as far as you can, your elbows can still support you somewhat.
