I've been thinking about this for a few weeks now and the other leg soreness thread prompted me to write this one....
This question/idea is aimed at DC but I'd like everyone elses opinions too.....
OK...when I'm blasting and my weights are getting up there I find that my legs feel like they've been run over by a bus for several days after training them....Now on the 3 day split you're gonna have at least one leg workout with only one days rest before you workout again (if leg day falls on Monday or Wednesday that is).
Now I haven't treid this yet but I'm thinking about taking two days off after every leg workout no matter where it falls and one day off after hitting Upper Body...So on a MWF split it would look something like this
M-Ch/Delts/Tris/Back
W-Bis/Legs
Sat-Ch/D/Tr/Ba
M-Bi/Legs
Th-Ch/D/Tr/Ba
Sat-Bi/Legs
Tue-Ch/D/Tr/Ba
Tell me if you've tried this or if it makes sense to you....
