  • Lesson Learned

My schedule got all out of whack this week. On monday I had a reaction to some allergy pills and got all dizzy and sick. Anyway that put my leg day on Tuesday. So Thursday comes along and I go in and have regular deads in my back thickness. Well it is my B-day tomorrow so I wanted to get my workout in today. My legs were still pretty sore-but managable. I get in and hit 4 warm up sets for leg press. I put 6 plates on for my set. Last week I hit 8. One goes down and I am thinking man this is harder than I remember. Two goes down and my legs start shaking like I am having a seizure. Third rep I am crushed like a bug. I get it up half way and slowly it sinks back to the bottom. I am able to squeeze out so no inuries. But after that i decided to call it a day. If you were me would you skip that day all together and hit back again on monday? Or Redo it on monday? I am leaning twoards a redo-just to get my confidence going.

damn take a break, i honestly think it is better to skip a workout if you are not recovered. you are only hurting yourself more.

i also think that you should Recover, but if your WU Sets were Too Heavy and your Last Set was Over Extending yourself then you Messed up Do It Right Next Time.

      Good Luck!!

Man I came back and whipped ass today. Did higher reps with higher weights in every exercise. The extra day off was just the ticket.
