  • Feeling hungry

Is it normal to feel extremely hungry on the DC diet, first thing in the morning? I mean, its like I haven't eaten in a week.

I put a shake in the bathroom for a middle of the night feeding when I have to take a leak, but I honestly believe that's almost made the hunger worse. I am lucky I wake up between 5:30 am and 6 am for work anyway, because I doubt I'd be able to sleep much later than that.

My last meal of the day is generally a 60 g ion-x wpi shake in water and a couple of handfuls of sliced turkey or roast beef.

Would I benefit from switching to a casseinate blend for my last meal or the early am shake? Should I add some natural peanut butter to it?

I'm almost thinking this could interfere with my sleep this weekend . . .

After you get through the first couple of weeks you become a food processing, shit dumping maching and your body craves eating and wants to shit every couple of hours,,, lol, or at least that is how it works with me.

I'm the same way. I can eat like a pig before bed, drink a shake in the middle of the night, and still wake up with my stomach in knots I'm so hungry. I've even had nights where I ate bad stuff until I felt like I was going to explode, then drank a shake and felt even worse, then still wake up famished. Aint it great!!

If you stick to carb cut offs you will be carb depleted in the am and like big paul said that Human Blast Furnance that you have become needs food every 2-3 hours or it gets lonely...
