  • Got My 50!!

    I was Reading CFP (Have been for Quite a While) Applying The Pricipals.


    Did my 20 Reppers Last Leg Workout, Decided to go With The Infamous 50 Rep Leg Press.

    It was just like DC Described, KILLIN!!

    Just thought id let yall know.

    ((Tomorrow is going to be an Adventure!!))

      I have a question that is open to the more advanced members of the board, IH, Dante, FH, that means you As you know IH, my legs are not lacking size wise. This ONLY meaning circumference. However, you know that I now have no inner sweep. For that, I usually go with toes pointed considerably out on quads movements. Since legs are not 'lagging' necessarily, I have still been using a set of 8 then a heavier set of 4. However, if I want to bring back my inner sweep more quickly do you think it would be OK to go ahead with like the 8, then 20 repper on squats or 50 repper on Leg Press since that specific area is still lagging? I will do that next time my blast comes around. Thanks!

        well I know if I did 50 reps you would need the barf bag handy

          yeah i did want to Puke After. I Went through so many Stages, The Help me Phase, The Star Phase, The Puke (Almost) Phase, and The Almost Fell Down After i Stood Up had to Grab Something to Get Leverage Phase.

          All in All A Good Thing to Do!!

              Usmuscle i have the same inner thigh weakness and this is a huge part of the quad (take a look at Platz from a front shot and his inner thighs create a tremendous amount of his quad size)-----after 5 years of tooling with different stances and toe points on exercises I finally gave in and went over to the adductor machine in the last 2 years out of frustration. Nite and day-This brought them up tremendously. I rest pause it heavy for 15-20 reps after hams but before my main quad exercise. I get some wierd looks from the old ladies waiting for the machine sometimes but I dont give a crap because it finally got the job done for me.

                    I did not want to say that after I do a 50 set on the Leg Press I go over and do both Abductor and Adductor with the whole stack and a DB chained to them, I did not want anyone laughing at me.

                      Thanks Dante! I never even thought about that. I think the machine at our gym is the ABductor though, not adductor. Will this suffice?

                      Oh yea, and if Dante DOES post a pic of himself on the adductor machine, I've got dibs on it as being my avatar...LMAO
