  • Question / Problem

So today was weight in day. Last friday 244 all time best, today 241-242, i was of course disapointed. Ate well all week, currently eat 7 solid meals with 3 shakes 2 out of 3 shakes have olive oil, 2 table spoons. Meals are mostly extra lean ground beef, chicken, eggs, with carbs in all meals until 5pm, about 500g protien, 400 carbs, 150g fats per day.

Training is going A1 another week of adding 10-20lbs to all my exercieses.

Action i am going to take is add 2 more shakes with olive oil which should be handy extra 1000 calories per day.

Other reasons, may have been, stress at work mon-tues (still ate, trained monday), stoped creatine, so maybe lost some water. Or extra protien and calories is cranking up my metabolism.

Have had many comments that I am bigger, so that is good sign, once you get certain size, 5lbs here or there not really noticed same on someone who is 180.

Question is, does the extra shakes should like the solution? I can't eat anymore solid food I am gagging now by end of day.

I have a thought but will leave the detailed answer to the big guys.

My thought is it's water weight. Dropping creatine could cause the decrease in weight. Adding 1 shake would be a start. No need to start with two. Add and see how things go. You don't want to over do it and get fat. Just my opinion.

I agree with GB...Sounds like day to day fluctuations plus the creatine can easily cause a 5-10lbs swing either way IMO....No worries...

Super supplements should have held the water weight, but will see what another week brings, not paniced but really want to make 250 by end of second week of july plan contest prep for Aug 1.

Perhaps, but you've got so many different variables going here that I wouldn't sweat a few lbs either way

that maybe be true, but it sounds as if you were taking creatine along with all your other supps, in which case dropping one of the items such as creatine when your body is use to all of them in combination would definitely reduce your water retention, thus reducing your weight.
