As you've no doubt figured out I'm new to this board, I just want to start off with saying hi and that I really respect the hard work and dedication that the people on this board have put in to become freaky big and strong.
I ran into this board about four days about through a search engine and read through DC's training principles that he puts up for free and was really excited about what I had found, this is exactly want I have been looking for. Not some magic routine that promises the moon for nothing, but some unique ideals and a bust ass program that you can't help but get big off of if you put in the proper amount of effort.
A bit about myself (encase you want to know) is, I'm 17, I've been training for about a year and a half now during which time I've went from 118 pounds at 5'9" tall to 149 pounds. I know there are dogs which weigh more than I do, but I think its pretty decent considering where I came from. I have sort of hit a wall here recently in gains and have been looking for something which I can stick with and still get huge and strong. Don't get e wrong I don't have any aspirations to become a professional bodybuilder (although I don't have any problems with those that do) this was pretty much decided for me through genetics. I have wants know as Pectus Excavatum, for those of you who don't know what the hell that means, its basically where your sternum bends inwards and there's this dip in the middle of your chest that looks like a pot hole. Its not so bad that it interferes with my breathing or anything, but its a bit f*cked up having a hole in the middle of your chest. So what I'm looking to do is become as big as I can without becoming a lard ass, even though I know in order to get you have to put of some fat. I also know that its won't happen over night and takes plenty of blood, sweat, pain and effort which I'm willing to give.
BTW I train at home got no $$$ to train at a commerical gym, but I'm pretty well equipted I got a power rack, solid cold rolled steel barbell, a little over 700 pounds in plates, adjustable bench with leg extension/curl attachment, preacher bench, adjustable dumbbells and a chinning bar on the rack. They belonged to my dad when he used to lift.
Hope this hasn't bored you too much.
