  • Weighted chin stretch

Well I have been trying this one and really not feeling it at all. The only thing that really hurts is my hands. And If I add weight I can't keep myself on the damn bar. My wraps slip off the bar very easily. It is getting frustrating. I have tried using the lat pulldown machine but it only goes to 200lbs. It seems to stretch me better but still I could probably do it for a while. Any secrets I should know about? Btw-I have been using a low row and hold stretch for back thickness. I like it very much-you can really feel it across your back.

rugbythug, For the chin hang, you need to find a chin bar that has the kneral on it so your straps don't slip off and yes my hands and forearms give way before my lats do, I can only make it bout 1 minute 45 seconds...

Sinch those wraps tight! If tight they should be ok. It stretches me out great!

All the chin bars at my gym are either the 2 inch ones or they are smooth and my wraps just slide off. I will improvise something.

rugbythug, You could try gloves or thin sponges to get a better grip...

when you wrap your straps around the bar, do you go over top the bar first or underneath first. I find it best when you have your hand on the top of the bar then wrap from the bottom and then up and around. Also, the thicker wrist straps are better in my opinion (I have the APT pro wrist straps).
