    Are these ok to incorporate in DC's training?

      I am not a big fan of them. They may be ok for powerlifting but not really needed in a bodybuilding routine. Just do regular old squats nice and deep.

          Well, from my experience they might be nice for variety. Make sure the box is around 10" high. But really unless you are a powerlifter getting in your season I wouldn't do them.

                Box squats are one of my Dante approved alternate exercise for quads.Haven't had to bring them in cos I NEVER do not destroy the logbook

                  It all depends on the box. In comp prep I used a 10" box. So he could use a box and still get below parallel.
