  • Finally!!!

HAd my first really good session! It's falling into place. My shoulders are killing me so I worked around that a tad.

    1. Vert. BP (harder than the smith...yuck!)
    375x12, 200x20

    2. Laterals
    LT 40x13 TT40x16

    3. Incline Dumbell Skulls
    LT 60x15 TT60x19

    4. Close Grip Pulldowns (I could actually pulls these down! )
    200x9

    5. Hammer Rows (I am all for the high reps there! FELT GREAT!)
    270x16

Overall everything was not so bad. Tammy was a monster getting PR's in everything while doing Hammer Rows with 90x10!!! Good session!

THANKS TO DC! I think I have found my niche at long last.

Thanks Raul. I am doing everything I can. For whatever reason GCM compounds dont work for me. I take Ibuprofen 2-3 times a day, lots of painful icing, DC stretching. I have had numerous AC joins issues, chronic tendonitis and cuff tears.

AS odd as it seems laterals are about the only thing I can do. And actually front raises are the most comfortable. Weird but that's it. I am gonna try IH advice for higher rep shoulder presses etc on a machine and see if that will help.

Thanks. I was afraid you'd get me for the laterals. I am gonna try presses soon. Maybe after a while I will be able to do narrow grips for tris as well. Funny how something so small can affect so much.

Future, No worries man, I know I had to lower my weights due to DC getting on my ass bout injuries, so for Close Grip Smythe Bench I only did 410x16RP, man I miss the heavy stuff...

A tip from me if you`re having shoulder problems. Try doing overhead dumbell presses sitting with your ass low down, almost on the floor (but still standing on your feet). This way you can use very light weights, but it will be heavy to lift because of the way you are doing them. A great way to train heavy even if it isn`t, and you are "sparing" your shoulders at the same time.

I`m having shoulder problems myself. Got some needles in it today and it`s already feeling much better.

Have you tried supplementing with flax oil? I've got bad joints due to years and years of contact sports, running, etc... Recently, I've been taking 5-6 tablespoons of flax/day and my joints feel much better.

Thanks Aaron! I didn't realize you were that sick. GROSS! My shoulders are somewhat better but I worked on the things you told me too.

OH! And remember when I said the right shoulder blade was hurting? That is that tiny area of the rotator cuff. I think its cause I use my right arm more so its getting a bit strained.
