I think leverage comes into play with lifting more than people think about. The reason ass to the grass works better is you move a longer distance and if you think about leverage as soon as your femur breaks the plane of 90 your quads are at a total disadvantage. I hear things said about fibers either fire or they don't-which is true. However When I am screwing my wife lots of fibers are firing and I ain't getting bigger. You need to have stress on the fibers - bone position has a lot to do with which part of a muscle is receiving the stress. I know I am not premed so no technical jargon but please let me know what you think.

THings that people don't Mention Enough

Another thing that people don't mention enough is the mind/muscle connection. I'm sorry, but to me it is essential on this program. It is a gift, and if you don't have it, it's hard to teach and learn. It is particularly needed on programs like this when you only have one set to prove your worthiness and cause hypertrophy. -

rugbythug, Also it must be a constant progressive overload everytime you come back to that exercise, so you can use all available muscle fibers for that exercise...Comment
