Check this thought out. Notice that the movements which "Cause the indirect effect" or "Overall stimulation" are the movements which make the WHOLE BODY act like a HINGE. Leg press, deadlift and squat. I just found it curious when I was thinking about the overall positioning of the body. Could it be for the reason that the single most potentially powerful muscle in the whole body are the erector spinae. Or/and for the reason that these exercises give the most stress to the lower body and also to these very seemingly long set of erector spinae, while using the "indirect muscles" such as arms, calves, etc" in static work?
