    You ran to the gym owner??? C'mon, you gotta handle these things yourself! After they said 14 sets left........a 45lb. plate to the head would of done the trick!

      i know what you mean bro,, that always happens ,, whats the point of doing that ? i mean you stand by a preacher bench and do your curls,, what gets me mad is that they only use 10's & 5's,, dumbasses,,

        Just do as I do when someone else is on a piece of equip you need. Grab a bench and sit down on it right next to them or beside them and just stare at them the whole time. After a few minutes they get uncomfortable and leave, then that equip is all mine HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA.

              I know what you mean too bro, a lot of people do barbell curls in the squat rack, it pisses me off.

                        I bet these guys didn't even have big arms, 14 more sets! I saw a guy in my gym doing endless sets of various curls while I went through a whole workout. Guy had no legs, back, shoulders and his arms were maybe 14" after all that work. <sigh>

                          I would have said, "can I work in with you guys" and when they said sure, I would have set the weights and squatted.

                          But I understand gym owners frown on being pushy to people. But there should be a sign up that says it's a squat rack FOR SQUATS NOT CURLS.

                              You know, I have to say that when I train in a gym I use the squat rack for curls. Of course, I do use a pretty decent amount of weight.

                              That said, I would never stop someone from squatting in order to do curls. I don't do more than 2-3 sets anyway.

                              The above is the beauty of training at home. No worries that any assholes are hogging my power cage.
