DEFINITELY rest. I take around 3-5 minutes between exercises.

        Jim,USMuscle,Raul...Thanks for sharing...

I`m a bit sonfused with this subject :p , I tried DC Training yesterday, I attack Chest,Tricep,Shoulder,Back Width, Back Thickness together [day one pattern] like what DC recommended...DAMN, that rest pause make my head feel dizzy ,before I use DC Training, I do Jonessian HIT which involves 'RUSH FACTOR' [no rest] between exercises, but when I switch to DC Training, I feel that I can`t use that 'RUSH FACTOR', the DCT` Rest Pause is 1000000X more brutal than 1 set 'all out' ala Jonessian HIT...my hand shake terribly after RP is done ...so I decide to give about 30-40 sec to rest between exercises :p ...

As I read on his Nautilus Bulettin 1 n 2, Arthur Jones always said that concerning rest between exercises, less is better and zero is the best, LOL , but I think that if I rest less between exercises, my next exercise performance would be suffer [especially when I hit the Chest then Tricep then Shoulder], the poundage will be down so that can`t maximally overloaded the muscle to maximal growth...so what do you think, guys,

1.more rest between exercises and lift more poundage...
        or
2.less rest between exercises but lift less poundage...[Arthur Jones prefer this ]

Please give me your opinion, guys...

        Thanks for the help... :smooch:

Thanks for sharing, I`ll try longer rest period on my next workout...

WTF dude?? Who the hell can take 8minutes for 15 breathes??

Is this a joke or are people really resting 3min+?

It takes me a couple of minutes just to set up the next exercise.

I think a good rule of thumb for rest between sets is the time it takes to eat a sandwich!

I have no set time limit, you go when you are ready to give 110% on that next exercise...

Like I said, catch your breath, but don't take a vacation......

Like Rugby said, it takes me a few minutes to get setup for the next one and then comes the reading and rereading of the goals I have for that.........then I start talking to myself out loud telling myself what I'm gonna do.

Example for the 20 repper is saying "20 reps"..."one"..."two"

but I'm kinda soft in the head anyways

I have no set time limit between each movement but it prolly around 5-10 minutes. I go when I feel I'm, ready however long that may take.
