    Do you think these goals are attainable with DC's training and diet methods? After I lean out for the summer and I am to give DoggCrapps approach a shot and see how much mass I can pack on my frame. I love to eat, so this should be fun come August

      try it. you won't be dissapointed. as far as goals, put no limit to what you can accomplish with DC's training and just go for it. so, what exactly is your goal anyway? you weight what, 220 or so right now and want to get up to 250? what time span are you going for? 30 lbs is definately possible.

        In those before pics, I was at 225-227. Currently I am sitting at 213 and I think if I get down to a lean 200lbs I should be able to use DC's approach to pack on some serious mass and keep my bodyfat at a manageable level.

        I want to compete in the future, that's why I am trying to lean out a bit. I want to see my weaknesses (fat hides alot) and then bulking with DC with hopes of gaining some crazy muscle mass and keeping my diet in check!!!

        I have never hit the stage before, but if I do... I want to hit it hard and turn some heads!!! I think that DC and Skip are the ones who can take me there!!!

          2 quick questions. I am reading through CFP (I'm hooked, I can't tear myself away to get to the gym) and I have 2 very quick questions:

          Exercise example : Incline Bench
          Rest/Pause... You do 1 set until failure, then take 12-15 deep breaths, then another, and another. During this breathing period, do you re-rack the weight, or do you hold the bar in the top position?

          Static hold: Where do you hold the bar (what level) during the static hold? Do you do this static hold immediate after you went to failure on the last portion of the rest/pause? Do you take one more sets of breaths before performing the static hold?

          I am trying to learn everything about DC's training now, so when it comes to bulk time I will grow like a weed

            Yes, you always finish the movement on the negative, and if you have a partner he will help you get the weight up and do your 15 breaths. Most likely rest and then do either static hold or static reps. I'm not sure if this is an individual part of the training though.
            Static holds are usually a few inches from the top of the movement down.

            Getting to your talk of "leaning", if you want to do DC's program then leaning or becoming cut isn't what this program is mostly for. If you are lacking size and strength then this is what you want to do. Yes you will get leaner doing it the right way but your weight will go up! Along with size and strength. Don't think of cutting and trying this program. At least I don't believe that is the right mindset.

              No, I am cutting right now for summer. I plan on doing this program starting in August or so. Right now I am taking time to read through all the threads and CFP so when I am ready to start I will know what I am doing.

                A rest pause set is one set (not 3 sets) its one set with rest pauses in it
