    i like myth #2,, you dont know how many times i hear people talking about too much protein affects the body and kidney

      i like the first one - i think its funny that people honestly beleive that they cannot use extra protein and anything more than the rda will only turn into fat. but then they push that you eat more carbs than most people need... hrm... if extra protein is going to turn into fat, what the hell is going to happen to extra carbs?

        mobsta, Beleive it or not it does at first when you start this diet, but your body will adjust with enough time...

          My dad is complaining about my post-workout dextrose intake and says that it will make me fast because it are all sugars LOL, do you guys have any facts that hammer down his opinion.

            Blade, You are Glycogen depleated after your workout, so you are in need of Glucose to fill your Glycogen storage in your muscles, now too much Fructose will only goes towards Liver Glycogen storage anything over what your Liver needs it will be stored as fat...

              my dad one time told me to stop drinking so much water. exact words from him, "drinking all that water is not good, you are going to wear out your enzymes". i looked at him and laughed and left it at that. i asked him, do you know what an enzyme is, he had no clue, lol.

                                at my college, SMU this black fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha made the pledges have a water drinking contest, anyway one of them ended up in the hospital because of his body temperature levels
