Howdy everyone...fellow DCer here with a quick intro and a few questions reference hammer strength machines.
Been training since I was 19, 39 y.o. now, with a handful of multiple year layoffs. Started training again about 8 months ago after a 4 year layoff. Got hooked on DC-style about 3 months ago and thanks to DC eating and training, I hit 208 on my last blast, my all-time high bodyweight. Right now I'm starting my second blast after a two week cruise.
My issue at the moment is that I'm starting at a new gym today. My old gym just didn't have the equipment to support a good range of exercise choices. This new gym, Ballys, has lots of goodies including a full-range of hammer strength machines which from what I've read are exceptional.
So, I don't want to spend 2-3 weeks trying to figure out what HS machines are "good" for dc-style and hamper my progress.
I'd like to hear from ya'll on what machines you like/use in your workouts. I do recognize there may be a "fit" factor for some machines but any kind of input/advice would certainly help me experiment in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
