    i know we have all experienced it ,, whether its on the chest stretch and you got that guy who wants to spot everyone, jumps right behind you and helps you up when you have 10sec left .. those dam flockers,,

    anyway so i was at the gym today and some guy is literally watching me doing the negative on preacher bb curls ,, so i get up and he asks me "hey are you doing that max ot ?" i was like no,, "oh because ive read about it and blah blah blah but its bullshit i dont believe in that",, i just looked at him this dude was about 125 ,, about 100lbs was sitting in his big ass head and the other 25lbs in his hair,, how he stood up was a miracle,,

    so i just said "well gotta try different things " and this guys still keeps to conversate with me,, "so how do you like the results your getting and how many times do your work out" i just tell him its cool and im hitting every bodypart in 8 days,, oh you are ? thats too much ,, i just walked away ,, and i hear him yelling ,, good luck bro... dam those dumbass folk .. sorry for the rant:kick:

        yeah I know exactly what you're talking about, while doing DC's program, and I knew sooner or later it was going to happen, a guy tried to help me and I yelled I'm stretching and he backed off.

        Before Dante's training, I was using a form of Mentzer's Hit training and I was benching, so I asked a stranger to spot me. I should have known better but I never thought anyone spotting would have lifted a bar off of a guys chest (I was fried) on one side a lot more than the other, I was thinking, (He's going to kill me). Never again, unless I somewhat know the person and have seen them lift or spot anyone. I almost forgot, I don't need that anymore do I? ahahahaa

          thats crazy jp,, i wouldve yelled at him and told him to kick rocks.. this one time at band camp.. oh sorry.. lets not get off topic,, but i had one of my friends spot me when i was doing close grip bp,, we where only going for reps of 4-5 with heavy ass weight.. so i start to struggle and the bar is on my chest , i look up and he is checking out some chick, i yell at him and the guy basically "tea bags" me ,, i get all angry and say the f**k off me Mr. Bojangles !"

                    Next time, just tell 'em that you're following the "lost set" of Weider Principles and are under contract not to divulge the info. Say its the same set that Arnold and Franco used. From then on, just insist that you can't tell him a thing, except that if he looks in some of the very old issues of Muscle Builder, he'll find them.



                    Oh, ya, your bench spotting reminds me of the time (a long time ago - wow) a guy - a trainer at the gym I was checkin' out with a 2 week pass - spotted me on a squat by pushing with *one hand* on my *left* hip (Pushing forward), and the other hand on my *right rib* cage (pulling back). I needed NO help on that particular rep (it was damn obvious), but thank God, b/c I needed the strength to straighten the bar and rack it. THE GUY SPUN ME SO THAT ONE SIDE OF THE BAR BANGED AGAINST THE CORNER OF THE SQUAT RACK! It took everything not to drop the weight on his stupid ass. I straighted it back out a racked it.

                    My back paid for that for weeks. Never again.

                      Damn I wish someone would mess with me once in a while, I guess my weights ain't nothing.

                      I think I need to send FH my gym address and he can come in a mess with me, you know I need that once in a while, or I guess I could go to 24 hour, but they stay away from me too, damn I just can't win.

                      I need to steal some of bigbadbut350 or what ever his name is, his stories he always shows little kids whats up...

                        Was that spotter LATS? Seems like everytime he spotted me on squats he just stared at my ass! LOL! i hate those idiots who know everything. I only have people I know and trust spot me!

                          TH, If I want someone to spot me that has never done it before, I sit them down on what ever equipment I am using and I show them how I want to be spotted, then I threaten them too, seems to always help...

                            Assholes at the gym are my pet peeve. I'll tell you one story that happened yesterday but other than that, don't get me started!

                            I had my 30# db's sitting on a bench and a guy walks up so I ask him if he wants the bench. He tells me no he was just after the bar. So I say ok. Then he stops and looks at my db's and says, "You are using THOSE?" I wanted to just tear his eyes out and slap a stupid sign on his forehead...

                              Hey GP you will appreciate this one.

                              My wife lifts hard and heavy. She goes very intense and by far her biceps grow easily. She was sitting on a incline bench doing alt incline curls. Between sets this guy came up and was doing standing d-bell curls with the 25's. He looks over at my wife who is seated with the 30's and goes-

                              "I could do the thirty lb'ers too-If I swing em- Just Kidding"-all snotty like she was cheating in her curls or something. Then about 30 minutes later he asked for her #.

                              Funny though how nobody even talks to her when we work out together.
