  • Dammitt !!

    well folks, I officially lost an excersise and its been about a month since i started this program. It felt different going into the gym today, still wiping the crust from eye thinking shit chest/tris/shoulders/back width/thickness here we go ! Felt strong on chest no prob then off to tris for a couple of dips.

    First set bodyweight of about 230lbs for 12, 8. Wrapped the belt and added a 45lbs plate thinking shit, Im gonna own you bitch, got up did 9 then 3 and need 2-3 more to beat the last set. Got my form on check for the last set went down and couldnt get back up !! WTF !! yelling off the top of my lungs "Get up bitch, Get up !!" stayed at about shoulder level for a couple of seconds and jumped off for the sake avoiding an injury. DAMMITT !! sorry guys just ranting .. :angry:

    its cool my man, this is one thing i learned with DC training. it is kind of like golf. it is more mental then physical in some circumstances. if your head is not in it, forget it, you will not beat last weeks numbers. shit i can throw weight around all day, but for it to matter and to be progressive, i have to be in the zone.

    don't feel bad, mobsta. it going to happen again, it is how you deal with it next time, that will shoot past those numbers.

      mobsta, No problem man, it happens to all of us don't get down, so you know when you put that exercise back into your rotation that you will kill it, even if you don't get around to adding back in for a while...

        Shouldn't Mobsta be able to take another shot at the title?
        Or should we ask him if he feels he deserves another go at the dips?

          thanks guys,, i know ill lose sometimes,, its no big deal its a part of training ,, i went in knowing i was going to beat it because on the last time i did more of a 6-4-2 and this time i hit 9 on the first set and was like no big deal then 3 easy,,, i was just so focused but my tris just couldnt ,, so its cool just felt like ranting on it but like inhuman said .. ill own it next time around.. jim paul ,,i feel like i could destroy it next time it comes around

            mobsta, I just want to tell you I did Weighted Dips last night with 5, 45s, man that was tough, well for one now I must chain a DB to the Chin belt of give it up, no more room for my fat ass and one more plate.

            I have topped out on quite a few exercise lately, but I kind of like it now I can murder the next exercise, bring it on, oh shit have to eat, anyone see ShayDee's address yet?...

                      jimpaul, It is deffinitly a Tricep exercise, I know you feel it in your Pecs too, but I get a hell of a lot more Tri work out of it. Plus my Pecs are already toast from the Benching I just did.

                      mobsta, Yes I will vote for 4 hotties, well since I am old I call them fine women, cause if I saw tank, I don't think Dips would be in my head at that very moment, I would think of him as someone that just cut me off on the 405, we would have fun for about 2 seconds...

                          Mobsta I usually give guys another shot at the title like Jimpaul said above--just in case it was a fluke--so try it one more time next time it comes up --if you psyche yourself up and beat it --it stays--if you fall short again--it goes
