I have used the extra virgin olive oil in shakes but by accident picked up plain olive oil at the store today! Is this beneficial as well or no?

you are fine with the regular olive oil. all virgin or extra virgin means is it is less processed, less refined. the more it is refined, the more "good stuff" that is removed. nothing you will notice though for one bottle of oil, just switch it up next time when you finish this one.
as well, always look for an expeller pressed extra virgin olive oil. it is a little more pricey, but well worth it. oils that are extracted with solvents are highly refined and are void of alot of the beneficial properties most people are looking for.

i would love to use flax, but anytime i go over a tablespoon in one sitting, about 45minutes later, i get sick as hell. especially if the flax is high in lignan.
sweats, nausea, dizziness, etc. it blows

I also buy regular olive oil. The only difference (as it says on the bottles of my brand) between the regular and extra virgin is that regular is warm pressed and extra virgin is cold pressed. Both are supposed to be healthy, but the extra virgin has a slightly darker color and stronger taste, so I prefer the more tasteless regular one.
I also take flax seed oil (to get some omega-3s), but it has a much stronger taste, so I don't put it in my protein shakes.
Next time I was thinking of buying rapeseed oil (cold pressed), which is lower in saturated fat and double in polyunsaturated fat compared to olive oil. (6-36-58, S-P-M) Don't know about the taste though.
anyone of you guys get the runs when you consume 3 or more tbsp or olive oils in shakes too? Man, first time i tried today i an hour later, my stomach was hurting like crazy and had to dash to the toilet.. dunno what happened but it wasn't the case with flax when its was mainly polyunsaturated fat comnpared to the mono in olive oil.. does this mean no more olive oils for me?
