Help with Extreme Stretches

    For Biceps I use an incline bench, lie back about 45deg with palms facing up and arms hanging down, then have a partner pull my arms backwards.
    Find that give me the best stretch, the other one puts too much stress on my elbows.
    Try both see what works best for you

    I use a cable instead of a dumbbell to do the tricep stretch, works much better for me, cause the dumbbell is kinda "in the way" back there and prevents my hand from getting close enought to my body back there.

    Rick, for Biceps: face a bar in a rack/Smyth that is shoulder height. Turn around putting your back to it, reach back and grab it, knuckles on top, palms facing down, the hands are in the opposite position than the shoulder stretch, arms are directly behind you, sink down in a squatting position first and if you can hack it work into a kneeling position and then if you can hack that sink your butt down for 60 seconds. This one's a ball!! hehe

    For Quads: face a bar in a rack/Smyth about waist high, grab it, squat down into a sissy squat (knees sliding forward / body laying back)

    Get into the bottom position as the video shows and stay there, DO NOT GO UP AND DOWN, for further stretching push the knees forward and lay the body down more. Have fun with this one!! lol.


    Rick I don't know why your shoulder is hurting? Maybe it would be better for you to just do a Tricep Stretch using a bar overhead and lowering it behind your head and holding it there for the 60 seconds. Or if you want to continue to try with the dumbbells, just don't move your shoulder once you get into a comfortable stretch.

    Just like the quad stretch video, DON'T GO UP AND DOWN, just get in comfortable bottom position and stretch the triceps.

    Help with Extreme Stretches

    I have a couple questions, i cant understand how to do the quad stretch, or the bicep stretch. When i do the tricep stretch it hurts my shoulders pretty bad, but it does stretch my tris. I tried a new stretch toda, i was by the smith machine and i put my hands on the angled part and leaned forward, it stretched my biceps like crazy
