HIT, With this program, no. Stick to the protocal that DC has laid out, tried and proven so many times I could not count, save the one legs for another time...

But you put more stress on your muscles when doing one limb at a time so wouldn't doing exercises that permit doing an unilateral movement be more productive?

HIT, You are trying to put as much stress on your muscles as humanly possible with this routine, most of the exercises are done both limbs at once.
Dumbell Curls, Standing Leg Curls and some Forearm exercises of course will be done one limb at a time...

One arm or leg at a time!
What are your thougts on this DC?
Quote from Michael Gundhill:
Another hidden impediment to truly high intensity is the bilateralt deficit. When you train two limbs at the same time, your muscle strength suffers. Studies have shown that the muscles are much more poerful when you train one arm or one leg at a time.
When you use only one arm at a time, you put on far more stress on the target muscles and far less on your overall body. Also, your range of motion is better than what you can acheive with bilaterlal exercises.Tags: None
