How much do you guys curtail your of day plans in the pursuit of more mass. I mean do you still hike or whatever you liked doing for fun. Last year my wife broke her leg so I didn't do much but eat and lift. But this year I want to go hiking and camping and I am hoping I can just out eat the calorie burn off. I figure If I eat every fish I catch on my pack trips I should be able to hold off the muscle burn. I want to be huge but I also love the outdoors. Last year my Cardiovascular was awful.

Ya gotta relax now and then.... rest is good for ya for years I took off from sept to Jan for hunting season. I got back in the gym feeling heeled...but also weak. It takes me 6 weeks to get back on the ball.Thats better than an injury that takse 6 months to heel.SweatMachine

Yeah man...it is good to have recreational activities involving physical exertion outside of the gym. If you have a proper diet and get some rest you probably won't lose much at all unless you stay out of the gym for a few weeks.
If I am doing something physical just for a day or so I make sure I hit the gym first thing.....then go play golf, bowling, beach activities etc.[email protected] http://www.proactivehealthnet.com

i got in the habbit a year ago to go surfing everyday (skipping work as well, lol) for 1-3 hours each time. i will tell you one thing i shrunk big time doing all that paddling. i stopped a while back and only go 2-3 times a month, everything seem back to par again. i would say extra activity doesn't hurt, just do it sporatically, and don't over do it.

tpc, Wow thanx man, I really needed to hear that, I just can't see doing anything outside of the house except for the gym, how am I supposed to make shakes away from my kitchen. I need to keep you guys in business, so I will spread the word not to leave home unless its absolutely neccesary, hehe...

I know what you mean TPC everytime I go to the east coast of Fl to go surfing (I dont get the best days of surf here in the gulf) I feel like I just lost 5 pounds in reality I havent lost that much but I definetely dont feel like Im as big after surfing all day. I'm moving to jacksonville in august for college so itll be hard to resist going out. Ill just go when its really good.
