  • Dropping compounds....

Wondering what the reason(s) is for dropping goodies a week or two out from a show alltogether. I hear this so often - that people with basically come off - which is just begging for estrogen rebound.

I understand switching to non-aromatizing compounds / compounds that don't promote water retention, but why come off altogether?...

I have more thoughts, but will leave it at that...

I don't necesarily come off EVERYTHING, but any compounds that do promote even the most minimal amount of aromatization is gone!

John Parillo always told me the worst thing you can do is come off something close to a show, due to your bodies response, be it e-rebounding or some other tpe of homeostasis. the last 4 weeks or so should be constant, per J. Parillo.

I agree fellas. I think its a ploy to sabotage other competitor's preps. Add that and then some hair-brained plan to use pharm. diuretics and you're lookin' for trouble, especially during the week after the show....

First, Krispy Kreme is spelled with "K's", not "C's".

I am with Parrillo on this one. I just don't see it. You could keep enanthate in your plan through a show provided you countered the estrogen. Thing is, we want to make it as easy as possible to control the estrogen so we tend to go with prop or suspension. I believe that taking something out is only asking for trouble.
About the only thing I can think of that you truly want out of there for the last couple weeks would be things like deca, EQ and orals like abombs and dbol. I know some guys androgen load with abombs but I am yet to see someone hard as hell who uses this approach.

I also think that most gear should be run around 2-4 weeks after the show. anti e, t3, diuretics and cytadren should be run past the show and tapered in different intervals. I mean, can you imagine coming off of diuretics, t3 and cytadren just as you start chowing down on all of that shit food the day after a show?? Asking for trouble, in my opinion.

              Just my opinion.......

I went to a hog roast the day after one of my contests. Drank beeer and ate BBQ all day long... in the 48 hrs after my Saturday night show I gained 26 lbs....VERY MISERABLE experience.
almost all of it water weight too.

So are you guys saying I should NOT drop the prop 1 week out? Even if I up the winny to help offset? Normally I would have tren as my only injectable for the last week up to 3 days out, then oral winny and masteron up to the day of the show.

If it was me and I am planing on doing this I would drop the prop 1 - 1 1/2 weeks out.
