  • Pumping iron, pimping board shorts and pissing off gravity

Basically want to get my shit together and do well in physique or classic physique

My hips are very unstable in the si joint
    Which made powerlifting miserable
Not to mention I SUCK at benching
    So that didn't go well

    Bodybuilding
I'm not particularly gifted in structure

If I'm house in lanky as fuck
    Long armed
    Long torso
    I'm also not genetically mesomorphic
So it would have took a lot of measures
I'm not comfortable with to be competetive
    And I got kids
    Fuck dying anytime soon

I see classic physique and physique
    I like that look
And I'm super excited about classic physique :-)

I have spent years chasing two rabbits
    The wrong rabbit
Or simply taking the wrong left turn to head the rabbit off

    Well now skip is driving

And I'm jus loving my life
    Loving my wife and kids
    doing work
    And training like a motherfucker

    Offseason 2016
    Stage oct/nov 2016

So let me get this straight you want to continue to get big and strong as possible with out making huge sacrifices with your health and compete in a division you feel you could be competitive? Sounds like a fine idea to me

I wish I could have said it more complete like that lol
            It's been an emotional week

My wife is having to see a high risk doctor
And I was sort of pissed frustrated and upset in general about my blood work and all the time money and shit I invested in this to be emaciated fucked up and weak as shit

            Sorry for the rant

And I will persue this but if I can't keep my self in a reasonable range then I will pull the plug hit trt and jus be a lean guy who loves to lift :-)

            Hence me seeking skips guidance
            I trust him
            He makes people peeled
And I get to eat pop tarts lol

Yes with our first daughter she had a placental abprution that caused her 3 different hospitalizations and ultimately led her to be on light duty for 2 months then 2 1/2 months of bed rest
It was awful we thought we lost our child 3 xs because of the bleeding

Her check ups have been good Til the last one
She has a small what could be cyst or fluid sack (which is what they found that caused the first abruption)

Truth be told the dr. Only wants her to see the high risk guy because ther ultrasound is better and more revealing
And they are not worried they jus want to "rule it out"
It hasnt worsened shes not in pain
And if the check up goes well
She will not need further consultation with the high risk doc

But that doesn't stop the memories and fear from flooding over you

                And it's been stressful :-(

                Prayers appreciated

4 miscarriages for us along the way to two children. Definitely one of the most gut-wrenching and powerless feelings when things don't go as planned during a pregnancy. Wishing you guys the best of luck with everything!

Man this is what I love about this board
Life gets busy and u come back
Boom all your brothers got ur back!!! (And sisters... )
                            Thank
So I've had a week of eating
                            And adjustments and complete rest

I came from a VERY overtrained state of dropping 60 lbs from 3 re week of May
(I was like 257 the first week of June)
                            To 203 last weekend

As I said skip is handling my diet and supps and all
I will be very vague about what I am doing with him out of respect but I can tell u it's incredible the difference already I feel stress wise, sleep wise, and well
Health wise I wasn't really getting what I feel sound guidance

Skip may actually weigh in on that but I doubt he'd be so nice
My advice to everyone who crosses that barrier of the "next level" with gear
Do ur research and don't always assume jus because some one HAS done something
That it's a GOOD idea lol

                            Any way

I kicked around the idea of using a DC blast
But my body is going to be going through a FUCK ton of adjustments over the next few weeks
I was for a good while doing 2 cardio sessions a day btw 45-60 min a time 6-7 xs a week
And doing 6 days a week training

                            Now yes I'm not stupid
                            But I trusted my coach
                            And he gets guys ripped
                            I jus feel skips method

                            Well

                            Doesn't suck as bad
Is more realistic and... shit I get poptarts... How do u argue with that

I decided to roll with skips protocol
I need to bring up my chest
                            My Delts standout well
                            My back standout well
And it doesn't matter that my legs are pretty good sized because they will be under shorts
But I will still KILL them because who wants to look stupid
                            And hey
Classic bodybuilding is building momentum :-) u never know

So as I said I'm building back up my strength but I will list the wts I use because it will give me and the followers (and my coach) a good gauge of progress

I decided for each body part I would use skips guideline and implement some things that I feel work well for me

                            I like structure
And I sometimes analyze to much (so sue me)
I don't have to think about food or supps or how much cardio I do
(And I have very different views on cardio... I don't even like the word
Well say conditioning and that will be revealed as the journal unfolds)

Chest back day I want to move as much wt as possible this day on the first two moves and I get a really really good pump from these exercises... The dips are great to stretch and they are done with a wide grip and a brief pause
                            Chest exercises
                            Incline hammer press
                            Flat smythe
                            Dips (emphasis on stretch)
                            Back
Hammer ISO wide pulldown (emphasis on stretch)
                            T bar row
                            Hammer high row
Hammer pullover machine (yes I'm blessed to have this!!!)

Legs (I'll alternate these two workouts) nothing fancy here kill the fist two moves and pump it up
                            First leg day
                            Hacks
Leg press (feet higher and wider)
                            Leg ext
Lying leg curl (I get a good stretch on these better than seated)
                            Then the three calf moves

                            Second leg day (following week)
Leg press feet narrow and low
                            Walking Lunges
                            One leg curls
                            Stiff dumbbell deadlifts

back/chest this day I selected moves to not thrash me before deads and moves that I feel I need to progress on... Not terribly good at chins and I hate prone rows so I haven't done em much... Oh and I love d bell rows and rack pulls :-)
Chest brings in and isolation move to pumps the shit outta the pecs then a good mass builder and an exercise I can really get a deep stretch on (I don't do much dumbbell flye work my Delts take over and my retarted ass wing span makes it akward it's also why I don't do much in the way of dumbell pullovers..... The Dumbbells touch the ground before I stretch well lol
                            Wide grip pull-ups
                            Dumbbell rows
                            prone chest supported row
                            Rack deadlifts
                            Pec dec flyes
                            Incline dumbbell press
                            Decline hammer press

Delts arms- exercise selection here will change very little
These moves destroy my Delts and I need to focus on mostly unilateral moves for my arms because there is a descrepency in size and as long as my arms are I need long head development... Biceps I feel brachialis moves are important and I want to focus on really putting a ton of blood in there
                            Standing military press
                            Side lateral machine
                            Dumbell bent over laterals
                            Triceps
                            One arm pushdowns Reverse grip
                            Dips narrow
                            Over head one arm extensions
                            Biceps
                            Pinwheels
                            Incline Alt dumbell curl
Preacher machine (one arm at a time)

I plan to lay with these exercises for a cycle then switch em out for different ones to beat to death
                            I see you didn't take a s#!t before deadlifting....

                              Today's workout
                              Chest/back
                              Incline hammer
Worked up to 1 set at 2 plates per side for 12
And one at 9 with 2 pps plus a quarter
Flat smythe 225 (pause at bottom) flex at top jus short of lockout worked up to 2 sets of 8-10
Dips 3 sets of bw 10-15
Back ISO wide pulldown 3p per side 10-12 2 sets
T bar was a mess with 47 people lol so I did Dumbbells row
                              120 11
                              130 9

Pullover worked up to 4 plates total for 2 sets of 8 and 10

I don't count warmups and I did not try to push the wt on the hammer incline
                              I do not train ballisticly
And I lower stretch/pause press flex
Or contract release stretch on the back

I do use a lot of machines
But I train alone as well
Also I don't have much trouble from my shoulders
I have in the past and the hammers smythe and bells seem to help avert that
It's also why I rarely do flyes lol
U may notice I'm MUCH stronger on my back then chest
I attribute to my wingspan and my change in form
I use to do much faster 3/4 jay cutler type reps
But it seemed to only do so much so know I'm really focusing on felling a stretch stopping all momentum and pressing to a good hard flex
I wouldn't say it's a specific count but it's def more controlled then when I jus tried to move shit tons of wt
                              Rest intervals were short
                              About 45 sec

                              Feeling good
Skip is feeding me and we gone keep killing it and get our strength back to where real slag is getting moved again!!!!
                              I see you didn't take a s#!t before deadlifting....
I too like to live dangerously
