  • Fresh start

    After a couple month break due to a deep glute strain, I'm trying work my ass ( literally) back into a groove. Hoping to slowly and steadily get rehabbed.
    Bought the Fortitude book and might attempt to incorporate this once I get it read. Working on fully understanding and mapping out a program
    My work is crazy busy as always but I will do my best to get logging at least once or twice a week in here

        Back and bi today
        Worked the rack deads for first time in years trying to get used to the weight and move ment again. Stuck to just 185 for reps
        3 set bw pull ups
        Cable pull downs
        Ez bar curls
        15 cardio
        Yeah!!
        My weight still around 127
        No crazy cool abs but decently lean considering

            Flat DB press
            2 at 45 for 8
            2 at 50 for 6

            Flat DB fly with squeeze at top
            3 set at 35 for 8's

                  the numbers are low but I was stoked this even happened! I have not been able to squat or pull since mid-may. I think I might be finally on the upswing

                  135 x5 for 4 sets - ATG and no pain!

                  Sumo Dead
                  Warm up of 135 / 185
                  225 x 3 for 3 sets

                  DB walking lunges

                  30 x 3 set

                  superset with

                  5 for 3 sets

                  back is super tight already so hoping I didnt over do the first day back at it. Overall feeling pretty good about the movement. Strength in the potty but it will be fine

                        Spent a few hours doing yard work and making peach jam
                        Finally made it to gym after spending most of the day in the Sun.... Sort of zapped my energy

                        db seated shoulder press
                        35# db x 10
                        45# x 5 for 3 sets , needed spot on last one

                        Behind head smith press
                        8 rep x 3 sets
                        Superset with bw tri dips 3 sets of 10

                        Db front raise 20# db x 10 for 3 sets
                        Superset with db behind the head tri press
                        15# x 9 for 2 sets

                          Light legs, have a session with a new provider for back treatment and didn't want to be too tight tomorrow.

                          Strict and deep straight leg deadlifts
                          95x 10 x3 sets

                          Leg press
                          20x 3 sets narrow stance

                          Leg ext
                          15x 3 sets

                          Good morning
                          Deep and strict with glute/ ham focus
                          Bar x 10x 3 sets

                          20 min light cardio and rolling

                            Tried NeuroKenetic Therapy and ART yesterday. Where has this been all my life?!?!?
                            So amazing how the mind has been controlling my muscles and movement without my ability to control. I cannot wait to hit squats and deads in a few days and see if my mobility is changed. My back/glute pain is gone in just one session. More to come...
