    This'll be long winded.

    A couple months ago I competed in a non-sanctioned local comp for charity. Of course, since my form was shit, I re-injured my back that I had hurt a few weeks prior. Very first set, led up with the hips then GM'd the weight up (440 I think). Passed on the next 2, benched a weaksauce 345 (setup hurt), DL 440 (I think). I should've pulled out, but my ego drove it.

    Ffwd through chiros, massage & shit, started the Cube Method & eating clean 3 weeks ago, but I'll pick up rom yesterday.

    The comp I'm signed up for is the USPA Centennial Classic in Colorado Springs on 8/17. I HOPE to compete at 275, total 1270 and qualify for the IPL Worlds in Nov. we'll see.

          No, my wife has some SERIOUS pelvic tilt issues that are hampering her mobility, so we're focusing on chiro & simple posterior chain work with her.

              I miss having a prowler and tire like when I had my garage gym. They're so shitty to use but so much more fun than the boring steady state cardio I do now.

              EDIT: I don't know the back story to the drama but welcome back.

                        I hate the bench press, plain & simple. I'm so technically deficient, I can't font a groove, and I just plain SUCK at it.

                        Today was awful for my main lift. I just could NOT get tight, get comfortable, or generate leg drive. I finished pissed off and my assistance session was AWESOME...but there's no "assistance lift meet", now is there?

                          Go rewatch dave's so you think you can bench series. If you can move your legs, you're not tight enough, plus you need to push down with your heels. I have the same problem.
                          When you set up Plant your feet, then move your body lower for your arch.
