Hey all. I am currently using the Cube method and am very much enjoying it. I trained a year straight using something along the lines of the Bulgarian method for squatting. I squatted 6-7x/week. Gained about 100 pounds on my squat. The reason I stopped was that I felt I needed a little more structure in my program (hah, program...).
My first powerlifting competition was in November. I'm in Canada, so we use kg's up here. I competed in the 105kb (232lbs) Open weight class by the way. I got 205/145/290. Here is the vid:
My second meet was Canadian Nationals in March. I did really well in this meet, except I lost my balance after locking out a 300kg deadlift and didn't get it which I was incredibly pissed off about. My totals for Nationals were 220/157.5/290, which was good for third place. Vid of Nationals:

My old program had me squatting everyday, and I'd rotate bench/ohp/deadlifts, and go through each of those every week. Anyways, I hope 1 or 2 people follows along with me, haha. I highly respect the amount of strong people there are on this message board. Later.
