    I'm a 29 year old chemistry instructor in the Chicagoland area. Thank goodness for lifting and dumb internet humor. I'm not sure how I would deal with some of my students, like the student who brought in a sick purse dog without a leash or a dog carrier to the lecture exam on Thursday. The dog started to mark its territory ASAP. Sigh.

    I start school June 18 in southern CA.

    That said, I am going to be stupidly conservative. If I can do the following, loosely based on what I've done at the gym, I'll be *ok* with it:

    Squat 200
    Bench 110
    Deadlift 250

    BW 129.6 says the inaccurate homescale

    Height 4'11"

    Currently I'm following some sort of Juggernaut program. In before the "LIEK ZOMG Y U NO 531 / WSB / BBBWTFBBQ?" comments. There was a template readily available to me at the time and I ran with it because I have no clue what I'm doing anyway, so why the hell not? Now I feel compelled and obligated to see this damn program to the end, anyway.

    Also, don't be shy about letting me know when I'm being a weenie or if my form blows and whatnot.

              The week I'm there I will kick your ass in the gym, juggernaut program is actually pretty demanding in the 10's and 8's weeks

                It has been kicking my ass without a doubt. The lower weight, many friggen sets, has been an... interesting change of pace, too. I'm still really gawkward with my bench setup.

                          Got my evaluation back from the head cheese:

                          [nexa] is a very intelligent, organized, and amicable instructor. She presented a difficult organic chemistry concept in thoughtful way to maximize student engagement and learning. Good luck to her in her professional and personal pursuit in California.
                          Considering that the freshman class I stupidly decided to substitute teach for after spring break pretty much sucked the life out of me in addition to other unrelated dramallamas, this was rather lovely.

                              Stretched and warmed up

                              Squat 135x8x5 w/1 min rest
                              Finally worked up a sweat. Felt like I could've gone 2-3 more sets at least.
