My boyfriend is coming to the end of his 5th week /20 of prep with Skip. We dieted last year together so when he was mighty agitated on the phone I was too, so it didn't matter that we both hung up.
This time around I'm not dieting, so I'm not going to be has sensitive towards his feelings, has nothing will seem too arduous a task....how easy it is to forget!
Week 1-2 I expected what G would be like & I was correct.
was ok with the meal changes, cardio & gym getting into a nice rhythm
Week 3 more or less similar to the above, only addition was when G stayed at mine he had to use my weighing scales which are lighter, this seemed to find the agitated button ....just a wee bit :yell:
Week 4-5 mmmm the fun has begun. I soon picked up in phone convo's the 'switch off' button had been resurrected, quite normal most men will say lol, but very apparent. Every time he's been to the gym has rung me on the way home but now that's slowing right down has he lives in a Valley, & the reception is pretty crap, patience has been lost to hit re-dial.
Getting very agitated now if normal wake up routine of cardio, prep meals etc was a miss....like when G stays at mine. He's a creature of habit, take G out of his home during prep & he eventually becomes a Tasmanian devil.
The vacant look of 'wtf are you on about woman' has returned on occasion in his eyes, losing his calm nature when he's misplaced items eg the past week G's lost his ipod, earphones 3 times, his HR monitor watch (which he found then broke), HR strap, hat, gym baggies, credit card 3 times! mobile phone which has somehow found wings, yeah twice now found its way flying across the room :hysterica Also not has affectionate not a lot but I notice it, meal times are on the dot nothing gets in the way...which has a bird can leave you feeling like 'mmmm what's happening'
I know the next 15 weeks are going to be tough, to be honest I didn't expect it to start so early on in prep. I read back on my journals, only thing I picked up on was I was really really anal about gym sessions, & timing of food, talking to my friends I was bad from 2 weeks in....so I just gotta step out of the picture, understand that the prep after having 18 months off season is a real biggy & very important to G, I'll get my G back when it's done. Just have to be patient & 'remember' when he's being an agitated ass, it's not personal, & I can repay the favour when my prep starts the week after G's ends
