  • You Will Remember My Name One Day

    First Log: http://intensemuscle.com/showthread.php?t=43246

    My best lifts so far...

    Squat: 240x5
    Bench: [email protected]
    Deadlift: 375x5
    Press: 122.5x3

I dont really do 1RMs on lifts anymore. If the worksets are going up, thats more than enough for me. No plans to compete in PLing or BBing as of now. We'll see how things are once I add another 100 lbs to all my worksets.

Some goals after a bit of self reflection...

    1. 3.5+ gpa for junior year of college. no excuses. usually start strong and lose steam. not happening this year.

    2. Continue to get stronger (and bigger).

    3. Improve Conditioning.

Starting Madcow 5x5 tomorrow. Dropping 5RM on deadlift to 345 since spending some time at submaximal numbers seem to be giving me longevity on progress.

Overtraining should be one of the lowest concerns. You should focus on optimal training.

          time to get this rolling

          August 1st, 2011:

          Squat:
          100x5
          135x5
          170x5
          195x5
          225x5

          Bench:
          65x5
          85x5
          105x5
          135x5
          150x5

          Pendlay Row:
          65x5
          85x5
          95x5
          115x5
          135x5

          Notes:
Estimated a starting point on the rows. 135 felt easy enough for a 5th set. Everything felt solid, good start to Madcows.

Im looking forward to this program. Heard lots of good things about it on bb.com from guys that are really strong.

Yeah man, Skrillex is great, been listening to a lot of Professor Green lately as well.

                  Notes:
Squats were easy. Last rep for seated press was a struggle at lockout. 2.5 lbs a week on the lift. Forgot my chalk so grip on deads was slipping on the last rep, but every one of the reps was fast. Might have to cut volume on shrugs in the latter weeks but for now, high volume is fine. Bought this belt: http://www.inzernet.com/detail_belt....LTS_BUCKLE10MM

If they do not have those belts in stock, call them and cancel it (Knowing Inzer, it may be 6 weeks before they ship it out). Then go to Crain Muscle World and get it much cheaper for the same thing.

Something tells me that you'd start squatting every day. Other countries have this mindset. America does not.

                      Notes:
Overall, a really good session. Was excited going into this workout after a 6 hour shift at work.

Bad news... one of my buddies at work went in for a blood test for his physical. Doctors found stage 4 lymphoma in his system... hoping for the best for him. he's a pretty mentally tough guy and WILL beat this.

Looking good in here man. I don't know how you guys listen to that trance type shit, you and chevelle, he gets me everytime with that stuff. Too repetitive for me, haha. Inzer makes great stuff, but like John said, they usually take forever to ship stuff out if they've got to make it. My belt took 6 weeks to get here. See if you're lucky and have an Inzer rep nearby, that's the best and quickest way to go.
…Time is so precious….and you need to ask yourself, what are you going to do today but more importantly, you need to ask yourself – how are you going to do it?
