To steal from Matt Porter, this will be a log of how I will lose muscle/fat. I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3B. My eGFR using Creatinine is 43, myeGFR with Cystatin-C(the best way to measure eGFR) is 63. I'm going to have this blood test again soon as it's been a few months since my Rhabdo/dehydration issue that set this in motion. Currently they want me at 100g of protein or less which I've been sticking to and dropped to half my TRT dosage 100mg/week Test C. Androgens are nephrotoxic, high protein doesn't hurt healthy kidneys but it does to an impaired kidney. No more supplements other than some "Health Supps". I've brought my Blood Pressure down to 115-125/70-80. My diet consists of mostly fish, egg white, eggs, almond butter, veggies, chicken, non fat milk, non fat greek yogurt, blueberries, strawberries and pineapple. I do cardio everyday and just getting back in the gym after 4 months off.

Sorry to hear you're having these kidney issues. 220 on TRT-only is still quality muscle/size. (How tall are you)?
Hoping your numbers improve on the blood-work. Yes, as you mentioned about protein, 100 grams should still be good. (Don't want to tax them any more).
I think many "over do" the protein, and piss a lot of it away as waste. (I do like the 1-gram per pound myself, but would have no issue doing less as you know, health 1st).
For most of us, this is a fun hobby, when it interferes w/ health, not so fun. Especially if not competing for money (sponsors, etc) which is even fewer and far between.
I know many who have wrecked their health (few have died), just as a hobby/amateur trying to get a plastic trophy (Meaningless) even after getting a wake-up call health-wise (Ignored it).

Cardio: 45 minute walk with 30# weight vest.
Started my Dapafligozin 10mg last and ordered some Irbestan(ARB) to see if this helps with my kidney function as it has in studies. see my nephologist on the 29th and not sure if he'll prescribe it so I'm running my own 60 Day trial and will show him the results.
