I started a low carb diet last week (ketogenic style). Today's workout was chest and back. While doing bench press my tricep got a major cramp, and this is after stretching out preworkout. I'm going to chaulk this one up to low carbs. I will raise my carbs a bit. This is unacceptable when one is trying to keep his gains.
Alternating exercises between chest and back allowed me to finish my workout but had to fight that cramp the whole time. Before someone throws it out there, I was not low on my water intake.
