  • Pin Fright?

Do any of you vets still have pin fright? I can't say that I do. For me it's the fright of how painful the prop is going to be the next day.

I got over my pin reservations very quickly. After about the first two or three injects.

No pin fright here......I used to get tense when doing quad shots, because I kept hitting nerves. Now when I do quad shots I slide the needle in slowly just in case.

I guess I got over self injects when I started to see the gains from doing the self injects. :showoff:

I used to get allergy shots every week and then being in the military I was a literally a pin cushion. The "shot" itself wasnt really a big deal, but I was scared when I did my first couple alone...but that went away pretty fast. Now its no big deal and I look forward to some quiet time where I can shoot..

Honestly I only get pin fright sometimes when doing quads...the scar tissue makes it very difficult to get the pin in...kind of painful and the creepy popping feeling...lol

I don't get it anymore. I already know it doesn't hurt. HOWEVER, I do think about it when I know the pain will be bad the next day.

It isn't as much fright as my body telling me not to inject anymore. It usually happens when all my injection spots are sore. It is almost a rejection of the needle by my body.
