  • Practice what you preach?

I've posted this before and I feel it would be a good thread here too.

Do you practice what you preach online?

I mean, do you diet/train/sleep/cycle as well as you emphasize online?

If there's anything I lack, it's probably what other's do as well. It's diet. I'll tell a newbie how important it is but there I am later that day cheating.

That's something I'm going to fix immediatley.

Other than that, I get all my sleep, I train (cardio too guys), and my cycles are responsible.

    How about YOU???

I do practice what I preach...and what others preach too really. I do not cheat much at all....I am going to tweak my diet a little in April. As for the training and supps... oh yeah, too a T. Actually I am turning up the intensity a little more this week. Sleep is probably my undoing...but even when I was a kid I didn't get much sleep. 5-6 hours at the most.

I have a relatively easy way to approach eating clean(notice I said eating clean...not calorie reduction!).

I look at what food options are available and ask myself.."Is that going to help me achieve my goals?" If not, then I'm not interested.
As for training, cardio is my weak spot-bigtime too. But I am going to use Randy's plan...and I am sure it will be successful.

I am like a machine when it comes to this shit. I don't miss meals by more than 5 minutes, I don't miss training sessions, etc., for months on end.

I guess that qualifies me as predictably boring.

              or predictably successful!!

I have a little trouble with sleeping 8 hours. Unless I take a sleep aid, I wake up after about 6.5 hours. Not sure why, but I've always done it. My internal clock is set and I can't change it.

Id say I practice what I preach...I mean, theres no way I can improve myself if I change what I say I eat/sleep/train to what I think will impress everyone else. Im here to learn and get better and if that means putting on display some of my crappy habits, so be it. In the end and through it all thus far, many people on the boards have been extremely helpful and have played an important role in my ability to grow and learn about my body. I dont think I could have done that by "stretching" the truth any as the adjustments that would have been made probably wouldnt be beneficial....

I would say the area I'm the weakest at is diet. I'm pretty good about eating, but sometimes I don't plan well enough and wind up without a meal or eating something that I wouldn't rather eat.

I do go through spurts where I'm really good with my diet and sometimes where I should be better.

Right now I'm doing well with the food, but it takes lots of planning!!!

yes I do most of the time. In the off-season I'll loosen things up but if there's a show in my future its all business.
