Do you think we are less incline to believe more of the truth about steroids cause of our goal to become bigger, larger, more ripped then the average person or do we REALLY have the upper hand in knowledge cause we are the case study of what happens in the real world of use of the drugs...?:showoff:

I agree with Rugbythug....but the general public definitely think that steroids cause more damage than they actually do (if any in many cases) at the dosages we use.Bigger, Faster, Stronger

I think the same thing could be asked about things that are legal as well...The key here is moderation in anything you do..Did the ball player die from ephedra because he used it moderatly? We are all big boys here and know the risks we are up against with any subtance we put in our bodies.
Do we down play the risk? I agree with rugbythug..I think so too.. At least speaking for myself. Will that stop me..HELL NO!
Risk, is driving in the rain in SOCAL with a bunch of idiots, who don't know how to slow down..or drive anyway..Heckman aka "WISE" OLD MAN

Thats called real world anticdotal evidence...thats more evidence than any dotor can say he has .
I had a doctor tell me how bad i was hurting my body. I asked him where he got his info, he said He read studies...
I told him I am a walking study, Yur looking at a human guinea pig. He didnt like the sound of that....bottom line I knew more than him...

We do sometimes overlook the negatives sometimes. But I feel the general public are WAY less informed than us. It's not even close. But I'll agree with SM, what real problems have you had?
I know I haven't had brain cancer on the count of steroids yet, nor have I raped anyone, or put my head through windows. Please tell your boobs to quit staring at my eyes

The only thing that I might downplay are things like clen, cytadren, diuretics, orals like winny for a show and maybe even synthol. I believe 100% that I do not downplay gear, itself. I am with sweaty on this one. I just have not seen the health related negatives in my 20 years of bodybuilding.
I think I only downplay the ones I listed above because I am not as aware of long term issues with the use of them. Of course, orals are a problem if used for a long time but the others, I just can't be sure. So, when I use the ones that I am unsure of, I consider it a calculated risk based on what I know and/or can logically hypothesize.

I know that before I got into AAS I did a lot of research, and I mean I read literally thousands of pages of info over a 2 year period before I started, and more since, and all of it says the same thing that has been confirmed by my experience, and it seems the experience of everyone here, moderation and a little bit of common sense and you've got no problem....
