No, it isn't from the supps you are currently taking. It is from the adjustments your body has made, hormonally, since you have been off. I am on a FRACTION of what I have been on for almost 4 years and I am having the EXACT same problem right now and I have NEVER had anything except very clear and nice skin.

It is similar to guys thinking that there is no need for anti es after a show and stop the anti es at the same time they stop their gear. That is the furthest from the truth. They end up getting sore nips and can't figure it out because they are "off".

I find that tanning once a week really helps my skin but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I am right there, though. lol

In all seriousness, what about BO, pudge?

Yep, just your body trying to create homeostasis. It tries to balance everything out but then you break out. It should clean up in several months.

Pudge...you may want to consider taking a few hydrogen peroxide baths each week.

Just fill the tub with warm water and pour in 3 quarts of regular 3% hydrogen peroxide. Then soak in the tub for 30 minutes or so. Do this 3-4 times per week.....it SHOULD help a good deal. I take peroxide baths very frequently as it is great for the skin, which is our largest organ and actually weighs about 12-15 pounds on most people.

The warm water will help open the pores and the peroxide will oxidize whatever bacteria may be in there that is actually causing the acne.

Peroxide will also penetrate the skin somewhat as it supposedly is a transdermal...very beneficial.

And...your tub will be super clean.....

Good news about the Peroxide Baths. can you use Peroxide as a face wash .. careful of course not to get it in your eyes. My problem is the fucking oily skin. I was using a great medicine for my face that helped a great bit but now that I am getting sun I have had to stop as it is said to be a huge NONO to use this stuff and get exposed to teh sun. It has teh same active ingredient at Retinol but it is in a GEL form here.

Yes, you can use it as a face wash. And yes, be careful not to get it in the eyes or swallow any of it.

After I shower I always use a spray of straight 3% H2O2 all over my skin.....and leave it on, do not dry it off.

Hydrogen bath huh? Sounds like a good idea. It's funna that you mention the bath thing because I use a shower and since I have used this softened water with a shower my back has gotten worse.

Doesn't H2O2 really dry out your skin? OMG, I can't imagine using that stuff on my face.

If I were to use the H2O2, I would definitely follow up with a moisturizer.

AI, if you saw my back you would be grossed out. Red dots everywhere. I won't ever take my shirt off. Red painful boils! I have a lancing tool for them that my fiance uses to pop. It's totally embarassing!

Future you should go see a dermatologist for it. Your problem may not be what you think it is & you may be treating it all wrong. The reason I say this, is because I've had horrible acne on my face since I was a teenager. I finally went to a skin specialist, (not a dermatologist) All these years I thought I had oily skin. Nope, turns out I have dry skin & my skin wasn't sluffing (I have no idea what that means) Anyway, she put me on this stuff & most of my acne is now gone & my face doesn't feel dry after I wash it.

If you don't go to a dermatologist, at least try to find a skin specialist. I know it sounds weird, but they get paid to pop your pimples & sell you good stuff to clear it up. The girl I went to went as far to tell me that if I had a pimple that was bothering me, to come in & she'd take care of it for me. It was strange to go in to have someone pop a zit. But I did it & I'm glad I stuck with their program.

I think you should also try going to a tanning salon. The UV rays do help. It may not clear it all up but I'll bet it will make a big difference.

Ah, IA is a smart one.

I am sorry for not going into detail about my skin care protocol.

After a peroxide bath or spraying a mist of peroxide after showering I allow that to soak in and/or evaporate. I will usually shave or get dinner started while this happens. I do use a towel after the shower to dry off but I do not towel dry the H2O2.

When I am totally dry I then put on a light coat of cocoa butter. I have found this works very well at keeping the skin from becoming to dry and makes it as smooth as silk. Some vitamin E works well in conjuction with the cocoa butter. I like the scent too....

And ....as for the face question earlier-

I usually have facials done every 2 months or so and I see a beautician that uses an ozone pulsating device that supposedly introduces oxygen deep into the inner layer of the epidermis.

H2O2 is a potent oxygenator and oxidizer...and has been proven to clear toxic and non-toxic substances. Ozone also has similair properties, at least as an oxygenator.

Sorry to drag you all through this...but I do not believe in the sun as the cause of skin cancer. Without proper exposure to sunlight or full spectrum light (which does include ultraviolet rays) humans and most other animal species will develop "malillumination". Otto Warburg won the Nobel in 1931 for his theory that cancer is a result of blocked oxidation(Warburg,O. "On the Origin of Cancer Cells." Science,123 (1956) 309-315). Blocked oxidation/ oxidative stress is probably the real cause of not just cancer, but AIDS and perhaps all disease processes.

Now...if someone wants to say that pollutants(which cause blocked oxidation) are the real cause of skin cancer, well I can buy into that hypothesis much easier as opposed to the sun being the causitive agent.

In the final analysis, I find it very hard to believe that our creator would make something so beneficial as sunlight a carcinogen in the same breath.

Also...I am getting ready to step up my skin care and body care program with using EWOT (Exercise With Oxygen Therapy). This is accomplished by wearing a mask and breathing pure oxygen from a tank for 10 minutes or so while performing low intensity cardio. Supposedly this will pressurize the blood at the capillaries and force oxygen into the tissues. Of course the dermis layer is rich in blood and vessels, and theoretically this will oxygenate the tissue and hopefully decellerate the ageing of the skin. So far I have read of some impressive patient testimonials with EWOT.
