Do you guys use a belt when doing deficit deadlifts? I use a belt for my regular pulls, but I feel like it might be difficult to get down into a good starting position for deficits with a belt on.
I've been doing 5/3/1 and usually deadlift well on the 5 and 3 weeks, but on the 1 week I really struggle to even get the weight off the floor. That's why I'm interested in working some deficit deads into my deadlift day.
