Recommended dosage on ALA for skip loading?

If I remember, skip said he took 400mgs with every meal but considering he was grazing all day he took up to 4 400mg tabs during his load?

I have 600 mg tabs. I was thinking of doing 3 during the course of my skip load. What would the reccomended total value of ALA be for the day?

I take about 200 mg every 2-3 hours that I skipload, I graze a ton on my skiploads. Layne Norton has a great article where studies had subjects use up to 1,200 mg a day and it worked great. I actually use a product by Magnum called MIMIC, which the main ingredient is ALA but it also has cinnamon extract and other ingredients that help you digest carbs much better!
