  • Carb Cycling Fat Loss Diet

    Hello,

After about a month and a half away from the forum I'm back and will be posting in my log again. I have been travelling and enjoying life!

I'm 6 ft 3. During my last cut I went from 237lbs to 214lbs, and would say I was down to the last 14lbs of fat to finally allow me to start putting some muscle on.

After travelling, I'm currently 227lbs. I'd like to get down to about 205lbs, and then slowly build some muscle. I am around 24% bodyfat, which sucks, but I am going to try my best go hit my goal. I was getting pretty close before I went travelling, dammit.

Here is the diet I have come up with. I used principles from Shelby Starne's Carb Cycling ebook which I purchased. Protein, carbs and fats are in italics.

I don't carb cycle so I have no input on this. Someone else may, though.

Sure, no problem! It would be great if someone could chime in.

I will say, however, that my performance in the gym has been awesome since getting set up on this diet. I'm crushing workouts, so much focus, great pump, great strength, and great mood throughout the day.

      Cheers,
      Rav

Everyone's different. When I carb cycle it goes like this.
        250p/50c/100f Low carb 3 Days
        250p/200/75 Med carb 3 Days
        250p/500/50 High Carb 1 Day

It works well for me, but I don't handle carbs well. I also am probably older. If you aren't seeing results, then drop the carbs more.

I don't carb cycle either...but, if you're feeling great, "crushing workouts," etc...then, I think you have your answer. No need for anyone to tell you otherwise 'if' this is working well for you. If the scale (or the mirror) is going in the direction you want, keep going...if not...you can adjust from there.

          Good luck...
