OK I'm actually going to try holding cool packs in between sets for all my home workouts for a month, this should equate to around 8 workouts. I will report any findings, it is the pov version of the glove I will now name "The Block".
I start tonight so stay tuned!"Be gentle in what you do, firm in how you do it."

Completed first workout. I used two cooling blocks and held them, one in each hand. They were -18 Degrees Celsius but do not conduct the temperature anywhere near that but rather at 10 Degrees (50'F) which I measured with a digital thermometer.
Basically I did my 3 sets DC style and then held the blocks as I stretched and in between warm up sets for the next exercise.
Air temperature was 22 Degrees (72"F) which was 5 Degrees below average, remember I am in winter here guys so I almost considered a jumper. In any case today was too cool to really overheat so I didn't sweat much.
I did not find it inconvenient at all. It felt nice on your hands and as I use sponges rather than gloves it did not hamper my grip.
Overall had an excellent workout as have been the last 10 or so.
My reps went up as usual, I did not get as hot today as often but as I said it was a cool day."Be gentle in what you do, firm in how you do it."
