  • quad, lacking sweep but bigger teardrop

i've always noticed this with my quads. i am currently cutting and it has become more pronounced compared to when i was a fatty. my teardrop seems much more developed than my outer quad (v. lateralus?) and i lack sweep.

aside from lack of leg size, could this be a result of the type of training or positioning? coming from a PL style lifting background, i train with breaking parallel, semi-wide outside the shoulder stance with feet pointing slightly outward, and shins not moving past the toes. the squat #'s are high, but it is with low rep, and i only do BB squats for leg training.

I'm a big fan of close-stance with toes pointed directly forward on hacks and leg press.

I believe the somersault squat popularized by Joe Daniels has helped people here as well for sweep...

These are an amazing finishing move to help with the sweep. The pump from these are like no other I can create. Definitely recommend giving them a try...

Everyone will look at you and ask what hell are you doing...
