  • Middle Of The Night Hunger.

    Anyone experience it?

I've never had this issue until recently-I typically go to bed around 1030-11pm after some almonds or pistachios & a casein (micellar) shake.

I've been waking up between 0200-0230 both ravenous and parched. The first 2 nights I drank a quart of water and sucked it up. Last night I drank a quart of water and ate a cup of 4% cottage cheese.

Honestly through the day, other than PWO, this is the only time that I'm straight up STARVING. During the day I am ready to eat when I do, but it's nowhere near this level of hunger.

    Help?

Sort of. I tried to stop drinking water 3 hrs before bed so my old ass wasn't awake pissing 5x a night. Problem was I was waking up thirsty and somewhat hungry during the night.

Now I am more mindful of the amount of water I am drinking at night but there isn't a cut off.

Now I am peeing 2 maybe 3 times a night but Im not hungry til 5 or 6 am.

Shit, nothing. It's been daily...I'd like to know how to keep from waking up at all.

Maybe a shake, a pickle and some PB? That sounds freakin good right now.

Rage, I find that if I wake am I'm not trying to consume a massive amount of kcals that ice cold lemon water tends to reduce hunger. However, lately I've been keeping a shake in the fridge as well as limeade BCAA plus so I down the shake, drink some lemon water and if that isn't enough I have some of the BCAAs, and the tartness usually does the trick at that point if I am still too hungry to go back to sleep.

Good info-I'll whip up a shake & some lemony deliciousness for the fridge.

                    Plus...a pickle.

Since I've been taking a scoop of TN's Night-time/Middle of the Night protein mix before I go to bed, I haven't had that problem.

When Im dieting im constantly waking up during the night....doesnt matter when i shut off water.....and usually one of those times im STARVING

So what I do is get the pre made sugar free jello cups...lime and strawberry.

I will mix like 3 strawberry jello cups with walden farms marshmallow dip or I will mix lime or orange with the chocolate dip from them...

Very little calories, cures the sweet tooth, and is a dieting savior
