    i eat alot of brown rice, but i am a bit confused, white rice is lower on the GI scale, does it really make a difference?

    Brown rice is more nutritious than white rice. More fibre, more vitamins, more oils etc. If you are trying to shovel down carbs then white rice may be easier to get down as you won't be as full from the fibre in the brown rice.
    But that's about it man. Brown rice is more healthful and less refined and keeps you fuller (fuller is not necessarily a good thing, though).

      Brown rice makes me bloated.

      White rice I look fuller quicker with less stomach distress. I haven't really noticed any "spillover" or looking fat or anything so I stick with it.
