  • T-bar handle

I love old-school t-bar rows. However I don't like holding the bar as I lose range of motion (unless I load it with all 25's) and I'm tired of always hunting for the pulldown v-handle, so I made my own handle. I picked up 2' of chain, cut 2 5" pieces of 3/4 pvc pipe and a couple chain link connectors. It works great but I find it slips (as the v-handle did sometimes) so I actually slide it between the inside collar and the plates.

I like using the handle I use here in this video:

(Sorry 'bout the music - that's a friend of mine bouncing around in the background, so I used that song b/c I figured she'd get a laugh out of it.)

Yeh but that shit hurts...lol. Just be sure your chain is rated strong enough for the weight you'll use.

I could use shoe strings with the weight I pull with.

From my bike.... Gotta problem with that?... LOL

It's just a short pressdown / curl bar that's got a bend in the middle where it hooks to a cable.
