    I thought I would share this with y'all. Freaking nasty injury as Sa Jae-hyouk of South Korea performs a 357lb (162kgs) snatch at a bodyweight of 170lbs (77kgs).

    Looks brutal. I really wanted to catch this weight class after being impressed by the lighter weights, but couldn't find a working link! This reminds me of that guy back in 08 I guess whose arm practically liquefied during one of the lifts.

              I've always been too scared to go for a really heavy snatch. With a light weight you can get away with muscling it around a bit, but on a 1RM the amount of time between "I have to drop the bar right now" and "I'm fucked" is just too short.

                      Saw a guy dislocate his knee back in my football days. He screamed for 15 minutes till the ambulance came. I think dislocations have a goo bang for the buck with their grossness.

                              this is another reason why i do not teach olympic lifts for athletes or anybody that is not going to compete in weightlifting. this guy trained for 4 years for that lift and it sucks that he missed because he let the weight get away from him at the point where he was about to overhead squat. i hope he has recovered and has the courage to keep training.
