    Anyone know the macros for filet Mignon? I have tried looking it up and the results I am coming up with are all over the place. I splurged and had a 12oz filet tonight and want to know cals and pro. Anyone know a verified number? Cut for me and thrown on my grill if that matters.

    Do you know how close it was trimmed? Like 1/4" fat, 1/8" fat...?

    It is one of the fattier cuts due to the marbling that makes it so damn delicious!

        Filet mignon is cut from tenderloin. Typically a 3 oz cut of tenderloin is ~185 calories/9 g fat/4 g saturated/23 g of protein.

          It was trimmed pretty good. I would say 1/8 th.

            4 oz. Raw (112g)
            Total KCals: 190
            Protein: 24g
            Fat: 9.5g (Sat. Fat 3g)
            Carbs: 0g

                  Look here.

                  Look it up under beef tenderloin as it is part of that cut.

                          I knew this was coming. It was just a curiosity. There was never a moment where I would not have eaten it if I knew the macros, NEVER! Savored every bite, the right way. No steak sauce. Just good ole' aged angus beef.

                              I read somewhere a good rule of thumb for meat/fish/foul is approx. 1oz. = 7g protein
