  • quick question bout gym wer

There's this brand of gym wear that has a 'H' or something like that for its logo. Anyone know what brand is it? It's claimed to have some insulating properties or something like that..

LOL My best friend bragged about that a couple of weeks ago. He is a pastor with an annoying 29" waist and 18" arms. He pulls up his t-shirt and said "Check it out dude." I laughed my ass off. No one is safe. SPANDEX IS COMING BACK! I think Crazy Wear and Zubaz are starting up again as well. Looks great with a fanny pack. :P

Under Armor is different, though. I started using the insulated, long sleeve shirts with the mock turtle neck thingy and they fucking rock. They are 50 bucks a pop but well worth it, in my opinion. I am even going back for some insulated leggings, also, because I have worn a pair of nike tights under my sweats to train legs for YEARS. Once you are warm, you are fucking warm. It is a "solid" feeling that I really can't explain.

I tell you, I doubt that there is anything that can compare to Under Armor quality, though. You go buying cheap shit and you will be going through one shirt a month. I was told at GART sports that if I have any problems at all with a seam or anything, to bring it back and exchange it up to 3 months later.

i always wear under armour under my hockey gear. it is awesome.

there are a lot of companies coming out with some great blends though that really wick moisture away.

i picked up some nice t-shirts at target that are great to workout in. nice and lose and wick the moisture away nicely.

I hear the word "moisture" but what about people whose sweat output rivals that of an industrial reverse osmosis plant?

Which kinda gear is most worth it? There are so many to choose from that its giving me a headache(a good one though!) I leaning towards those cold gear. Are they really really that warm like skip attests to?

Skip: you wear that alone or do you have another shirt over it?

Nooooo.....don't ask Skip questions like that!!! The last thing on earth we need right now is some more pics of Skip in his tight fitting underwear!!! I've still not recovered properly from the one of him in those frilly pink panties. Ye Gods!!!

i think the cold gear is too warm for any indoor activity. the regular turf gear will hold in plenty of heat and give you a nice secure compression feeling.

i tried on some cold gear and practically started sweating in the dressing room the moment i put it on.
