yohimbine hcl dosage

  • yohimbine hcl dosage

    I want to start using it for my cut...I've been reading around and the recommended dosage is .2mg kg lbm which is around 15mgs for me daily. 2 questions...
    1) Do I have to space this out throughout the day or can I just take 1 dose first thing in the morning before I go jogging (empty stomach)?

    2) Is it ok to go jogging after taking this? Medium pace at most...

    I am pretty sensitive to yohhcl. I only take 2.5-5Mg a day and i feel it....I would start out with minimal to see how you respond.

      0.2 mg/kg bodyweight taken with caffeine 30-60 minutes before fasted cardio. Start with less to access tolerance.

          I start out with 2.5mg first thing in the morning and work up to 10mg twicw a day over 6 weeks. I always take one dose about 30 minutes pre-cardio. Some people are very sensitive to this stuff.

                Thanks guys, I'll start at 2.5mg and go from there...is it safe to run after taking it? I don't want to get a hear attack or anything

                  I'd take a dose to see how I react first. If you feel ok after the test dose, you should be fine to take it and then do cardio. I always take it pre-cardio when I'm leaning up.

                    just took my first capsule which has 2.5mg...what symptoms are normal and what symptoms tell me I have taken too much?

                      felt nothing at 2.5mg.. kept on raising by 2,5mg and now i'm at 7.5mg and still feel absolutely nothing..yes i'm taking them on an empty stomach...should I keep raising the dosage until I feel something?

                        You can keep bumping up the dosage by 2.5 mg but IMO I would not go above .2mg per kg of bodyweight. Some individuals can tolerate a very high dose, but gradually bump it up and if you exeperience any strange sides like anxiety, insomnia, rapid heart beat...etc. drop the dosage down.

                          ok sounds good...that works out to be about 15mg for me. Should I take all 15mg pre cardio first thing in the morning (if I can tolerate it) or is it better to take some pre cardio and take the rest throughout the day?

                            Bold above. Play around with it. I was able to up my dose by a pill every day until I got to 20mg. That is when I started to feel it. Wait about 30-40 minutes after taking it to start you activity and drink a shit load of water too.

                            Some will tell you that sipping BCAA's while doing your activity will diminish the effect of Y-hcl but that does not hold true for me. I also wait about 45-60 minutes after cardio to eat anything. Mess around with it but stay under to .2mg per kg.

                              I am not positive of the science behind this and this is purely anecdotal, but yohimbine seems to have a much greater effect taken on an empty stomach and used in conjunction with a reduced carbohydrate/ketogenic diet. The logic behind this is that insulin blunts the effects of the yohimbine so when it is taken without the presence of carbs if is able to aid is fat loss more effectively.

                              I have not tried it on high carb diet so I cannot attest to whether or not this is true, but when I was eating a reduced carb diet and taking yohimbine on an empty stomach in divided doses I was able to lean out rather quickly. I was also doing more cardio at this time as well, so there were several factors at work, but I do think this helped mobilize fat stores.
